Couple Gets $8 From Oregon Lottery After Dogs Ate Winning Ticket
It’s one thing when the dog eats your homework, but an Oregon couple that left a scratch-off lottery ticket on an ottoman when they went to bed woke up to find it in pieces thanks to their two Alaskan Klee Kia dogs. Rachel Lamet says her husband Nathan thought it was hilarious and said, “It’s for sure a winner.”
They sent the pieces to the Oregon lottery, who said in a release they’d never gotten a ticket in that condition, but they were able to check it for the Lamets. It turned out that the $3 ticket was an $8 winner. Rachel said in a statement that they’re “definitely getting more chew toys” for their dogs.
